NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - The 2017 edition of "Frontier Revue" debuted Sunday at North Platte Community College's south campus.
The show is a string of musical scenes that depict the settling of western Nebraska. The music was written by the late Dr. James Thayer and the show runs for 45 minutes. The Director, Jennifer Winder, said there are a couple new songs this year.
One of the performers has not been on stage for six years. He was excited to get back out there and perform with a "great" group.
"I was a little hesitant," John Browers said. "It's been a challenge, but I feel good and we pulled it together. It was good to come back on stage."
The next shows are Monday and Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m. at NPCC's south campus. Tickets can be bought at the door.
