Local Radio Station Is Using A National Evangelist to Raise Money

NORTH PLATTE, Neb.-- A local radio station is using a national evangelist to raise money.

KJLT and KJTF are christian radio stations in North Platte. They are using a Sharathon to help raise their goal of $300,125 to cover day to day operation costs.

Steve Arterburn was behind the microphone Wednesday, October 11th, 2017 to encourage listeners to give. Arterburn is the founder of New Life Live.

"Great teaching, focused on the family and others. We get to be on here but the music is just great music; encouraging music. Appeals to a lot of different ages. So, it's worth not kissing the kids goodnight to come here and support what KJLT does," says Arterburn.

"We look at Sharathon really as being an open house and family reunion time. We have friends that come by every year for Sharathon. Love to have children come through here and we put them on the air. We have a lot of fun with that," says Gary Hofer, General Manager of KJLT.

Special guests this week will discuss faith and Christianity
