MRN style show and modeling competition

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. KNOP Day three of the Miss Rodeo Nebraska and Miss Teen Rodeo Nebraska pageant took center stage at the North Platte Community Playhouse with the style show and modeling portion of the competition.

A live auction was held prior to the contestants showcasing their outfits.

Each contestant was also asked an impromptu question that reflects their personality and thoughts on current events.

The style and modeling portion of the competition will make up 140 points of Miss Rodeo Nebraska's overall score.

"She's representing our state of Nebraska and so it is really important that she comes in and that she can articulate her thoughts, that she can represent not only the state of Nebraska, but also the sport of rodeo and our local community," said Miss Rodeo Nebraska Style Show Chairman Lindy Hiatt.

Miss Teen Rodeo Nebraska will be crowned at the North Platte Community Playhouse at 1 p.m Wednesday, as well as Miss Rodeo Nebraska who will be crowned during day one of the Buffalo Bill Rodeo at the Wild West Arena at 8 p.m.
