Man who led officers on a high speed chase waives preliminary hearings

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. 26-year-old Chance Ragle appeared via video conference Thursday before Judge Michael Piccolo.

Ragle's case was bound over to district court after he waived his preliminary hearings on two separate cases.

His attorney Bob Lindemeier asked for a bond reduction from 500 thousand dollars to 250 thousand dollars.

The bond request was granted.

Ragle's next court date has not been set.

Ragle is facing a list of charges from burglary, assault of an officer using a motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle to avoid arrest and violation of a protection order.

He is also charged on a separate case with operating a motor vehicle to avoid arrest.
