NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - The Salvation Army's Christmas Campaign is one of their biggest fund raisers of the year. It provides the funds which support many good causes around the community.
This year, however, the tree lit in downtown North Platte did not see the top lit this year, as they did not reach their goal.
Giving was down to the tune of $20,000. This money needed to be raised by the end of January.
And now Salvation officials are pleading with anyone who can - to please help them reach their goal.
