Snow starts to pile up in North Platte

Just when the snow starts to melt another round comes and it's starting to pile up.

Drivers now have their snow legs under them as another round of snow hit our region.

The National Weather Service says we've already seen around seven inches of snowfall in the month of February.

If you add January and February together, they say we're looking at more than twenty inches of snowfall in our region. It's means a snow day for students but it hasn't all been fun and games.

"We really enjoy sledding. We have a lot of hills where I live and I guess I just don't like that it's slippery and I always just fall down all the time," said Paxton Robertson who lives in Lincoln County.

The National Weather Service says for the upcoming days they do not see any big upcoming weather events.
