North Platte, Neb. (KNOP) - West Central District Health Department offered drive thru flu shots to encourage and help elderly and those with limited mobility to get their annual flu shots Wednesday.
"We decided to do t his drive thru at the clinic because it is very important for people to get their flu shots. This is another, convenient, way for - especially those that are elderly or of limited mobility so that they can get their flu shot from the ease of their car," said Brandi Lemon, Outreach director of the West Central District Health Department.
She said that they offer flu shot in the clinic everyday. They bill insurance or offer other options for those who have no insurance or are underinsured..
