Croque Monsieur



Ingredients

Sour Dough Bread
Ham
Swiss Cheese
Eggs
Salt
Pepper
Butter
Oil
Vinegar
Salad
Olive Oil
Lemon Juice
Strawberries
Powdered Sugar
Chives

Directions

Start with the sour dough bread, add ham and cheese and wrap in cellophane. Microwave for 30 secs and then cool. Once cooled, cut off crust and edges and cut into slices, approximately 4. Then in a bowl put place eggs and salt. Dip slices into egg mixture and then place in a frying pan with butter and olive oil. Brown on each side. Cut salad up into a bowl, add olive oil, salt & pepper and lemon juice toss together.

To make poached eggs, take a sauce pan with boiling water and add salt and vinegar. Crack eggs into water and cook till desired tenderness.

On a plate add some salad garnish with strawberries, place cooked slices add powdered sugar, place poached eggs and garnish with chives. Enjoy!
