NORTH PLATTE, Neb -- First National Bank in North Platte gave $11,000 to Habitat for Humanity in North Platte.

The check was presented Thursday at the bank.

The money will go a long way to helping Habitat for Humanity continue to build homes in North Platte says Deanna Trierweiler with Habitat For Humanity.

“Without the support from our banks and community businesses, corporations, it would not be possible. We do this for our qualified family partners. In order to do this we have to have that support from our community. So we’re very grateful for not only First National Bank but for all supporters.”

The money is from a Community Development Grant provided by First National Bank.

Habitat for Humanity has built 42 homes in North Platte so far.
