Hernandez Makes Plea
A North Platte woman accused of starting a fire at her home so another person would leave enters a plea in Lincoln County District Court.
43-year-old Royalene Hernandez pled guilty to attempted second degree assault.
District Judge Richard Birch set Hernandez's sentencing for July 30th.
Firefighter responded to Hernandez's home last April to battle a fire.
Hernandez started the carpet on fire because another resident refused to leave.
No injuries were reported.

Holecheck Makes Plea
An Ogallala man who led police on a high speed chase early Monday morning made a plea deal in Lincoln County District Court.
29-year-old Ryan Holechek pled guilty to fleeing to avoid arrest and driving under the influence, his 2nd offense.
On January 9th, Holecheck was driving the wrong way on Jeffers Street.
When police tried to stop him he led police on a high speed chase.
The chase reached speeds in excess of 100 miles per hour.
The pursuit came to an end when law enforcement deployed spike strips near Hershey.
District Judge Richard Birch set Holecheck's sentencing for August 13th.

Lehn Makes Plea
A North Platte man accused of operating a meth lab in his home makes a plea deal in Lincoln County District Court
35-year- old Zane Lehn pled no contest for possession of meth with the intent to manufacture.
In exchange for the plea a child abuse charge was dropped.
On April 5th, 2012, police obtained a search warrant for Lehn's home on North Miles Street.
Police found items used to manufacture meth
40-year-old Kristin Lehn is also being charged in connection with the meth lab

Sigwing Participating in Drug Court Program
A North Plate woman accused of selling meth will be the latest participant in the Lincoln County drug court.
25-year-old Sharee Sigwing pled guilty to possession of meth.
In exchange for her plea, two counts of Distribution of Meth were dropped.
Sigwing agreed to attend the Lincoln County drug program in exchange for the plea.
District Judge Donald Rolands agreed and ordered Sigwing to attend drug court.
