Baylee Steele to represent Nebraska in Four-State Matches

Steele will play with five Nebraska athletes against teams from Iowa, Kansas, and Missouri

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) -

North Platte High School golfer Baylee Steele will play for Team Nebraska in the 2020 Junior Girls’ Four-State Championship July 1-2 at the Country Club of Missouri, in Columbia, MO.

Steele is making a return to the team that won the title in Nebraska City last year. Steele won all three of her matches in 2019.

Alongside Steele will be Danica Badura, of Aurora, Lauren Thiele, of Wahoo, Kaitlyn Hanna, of Omaha, Nicole Kolbas, of Lincoln, and Emily Karmazin, of Elkhorn, and the team will be captained by Lincoln’s Stephanie Kolbas and Grand Island’s Kelli Jeffries.
