Knights Cage Club Golf Tournament scheduled for July 10

Entry fee is $500 per team, proceeds will help athletic scholarship program

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - North Platte Community College will host the second annual Knights Cage Club golf tournament on July 10 at the River’s Edge Golf Course.

The tournament will begin at 1 p.m. on Friday with a shotgun start. The entry fee is $500 per team, and includes green fees, a cart, dinner, and two beverage tickets.

Several auction items will be included in the event, including a pair of tickets to a Las Vegas Raiders game, two tickets to the Denver Broncos vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers game in Denver, two tickets to the Nebraska vs. Penn State football game, four tickets to the Nebraska vs. Kansas basketball game, a Kobe Bryant photograph, a Callaway wedge and a pair of Oakley sunglasses.

“I would like to encourage everyone to participate,” said NPCC head men’s basketball coach Kevin O’Connor. “All proceeds help support our athletic scholarship programs.”
