Local service provider offering donations to help schools
ALLO Communications is reigniting their "ALLO for Education" program
NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - A program is being rejuvenated to help with these trying times and local schools are benefiting.
ALLO Communications is reigniting its “ALLO for Education” program.
July 1 through September 30, ALLO will donate $50 to a school of a person’s choosing when they sign up as a new customer.
“You may say ‘oh $50 how can $50 really add up?' Well in the four or five years that we did it, we contributed over $200,000 to the schools in our state Nebraska,” said ALLO Communications President and Founder, Brad Moline, “It’s been very impactful and with COVID-19, now is the time to really invest in the schools and it’s important to ALLO, it’s important to the communities, we’ve got to make sure that regardless of where we are with COVID-19 that we need to be educating our kids and we need to be giving our teachers every tool we can to be successful.”
Moline said they are continuing the program to support the communities they serve.
“Let’s make a difference together, let’s connect ourselves to the world, let’s learn better, let’s work better and let’s play better during this time. We’ve gotten awful serious, let’s also make sure we’re having some fun and so this is just a great program for us to apply our values and for us to be a meaningful part of the community,” said Moline.
To participate in the incentive program, Moline said to mention it during sign up and which school you would like to have the donation go to.
“Let’s put some money in the schools for their use,” said Moline, “We don’t tell them what they have to do with it, but do they need more technology, do they need more training, we all know that we need to be better and so this is our way to help our schools be better and we do the work for most of the schools in the region and so it’s a great way for us to give back some of the dollars that they spend with us.”
Over the program’s history, ALLO has contributed $200,000 in donations to schools in Alliance, Bridgeport, Gering, North Platte, Ogallala and Scottsbluff.
In addition to the school donation, current ALLO customers who refer a friend for the ALLO for Ed program will receive a $50 credit on their bill.
