NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - Thursday was the third and final day of competition at the Nebraska Golf Association Junior Amateur Championship in Scottsbluff.

North Platte golfers Jayden Jones and Kasch Morrison both shot 230 (+14) through three rounds, and finished tied for 14th place.

“The first day, I hit a lot of fairways, which was great. I struggled hitting fairways the past two days, but we found a way to shoot decent, and I’m pretty happy with it,” Kasch Morrison said about his performance.

“I played this tournament last year. It’s very fun and competitive to get into that third day, and I really love this tournament the NGA puts on,” said Jayden Jones.

Jacob Woodmancy (Grant) shot 236 (+20) in the event, and finished tied for 29th. Brady Esch (McCook) shot 244 (+28), to finish tied for 38th.
