Mid-Nebraska League senior tournament starts Sunday

Games will be played Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - The Mid-Nebraska League senior tournament starts Sunday, July 26. The first round games will be Holdrege (5-8) hosting Imperial (3-5) in the West bracket, and St. Paul (5-7) hosting Kearney (5-13) and Grand Island (8-11) hosting Shelton-Gibbon (5-7) in the East bracket.

Quarterfinal games will be held on Tuesday, July 28. Ogallala is the top seed in the West, and will play the winner of Holdrege and Imperial. The other side of the West bracket will feature Gothenburg playing Broken Bow. PWG is the top seed in the East, and will face the winner of Grand Island and Shelton-Gibbon, while Central City will play the winner of St. Paul and Kearney.

The semi-final games will be Wednesday, July 29, and the championship games will be Friday, July 31. The higher seed will host each game.
