Nationals split doubleheader with Kearney Runza

Nationals lose game one 12-4, win game two 9-2

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - The North Platte FNBO Nationals were in Kearney for a doubleheader against Kearney Runza Thursday.

In game one, the Nationals scored three runs in the first inning, but Kearney scored ten runs in the first three innings, and won the game 12-4.

In game two, the Nationals again scored in the first inning, with two runs across the plate, and added seven in the fourth inning, to win 9-2.

In game two, Jeremiah Seamann had three hits, and drove in four runs, and Bryce Butterfield struck out four batters in four innings pitched.

The Nationals are now 27-11 on the season, and will play again Saturday, when they host Scottsbluff.
