NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - Behind yesterday’s cold front, we will see more seasonal temperatures throughout the work week with highs for many only topping out in the mid to upper 80s most days. Storm chances still linger through much of the forecast with the best chances coming our way midweek.

Today, could feature some patchy early morning fog for some, but mostly sunny skies and mainy dry weather is expcted throughout the majority of our Monday. Look for highs in the mid 80s in North Platte. Near seasonal highs in the upper 80s are expected the next few days with the return of rain chances thanks to a series of disturbances in the region. Tuesday looks to stay dry for now in North Platte but some storms will fireup farther north Tuesday evening and storms will be possible across the area overnight into Wednesday. Temperatures will cool off noticably once again with highs in the low 80s Thursday along with continued chances for showers and thunderstorms.

Skies look to clear into the end of the week with sunshine through the weekend and highs returning to the upper 80s.
