Warmer, more humid for Tuesday with rain returning Wednesday
NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - Quiet weather is expected across the area Monday night into the day on Tuesday, but as high pressure slides to our east, south and southeast winds are expected to bring warmer, more humid conditions into the area on Tuesday. High temperatures are forecast to climb back to typical late-July levels with temperatures topping out in the upper 80s to low 90s across western Nebraska.
Mainly dry weather is expected for most of Tuesday, but starting Tuesday night into Wednesday, our next system is expected to move into the area which will bring rain chances with it. Tuesday evening’s chance for moisture will still stay quite low, but rain chances will likely peak across the area on Wednesday and Thursday as ahe slow moving system slides across the Plains.
Temperatures are forecast to stay in the mid 80s on Wednesday with a good chance for rain, but with clouds and rain across the area, cooler temperatures are expected on Thursday with highs falling into the 70s. Friday likely is dry and comfy as highs stay about 10° below average with highs in the upper 70s and even into the upcoming weekend, temperatures are expected to stay below average with highs reaching into the low 80s.
