NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) -Amid a pandemic, college graduates are finally able to say they made it across the stage in a nearly normal graduation ceremony. There were fewer people than normal years, and of course lots of masks.

The ceremony took place at 3:00 p.m. at the Mid-Plains Community College gymnasium in North Platte.

Associate degrees were awarded in the many majors offered at Mid-Plains Community College.

Kali Meester graduated with an Associate of Science degree on Friday. She plans to start her RN degree right away at Mid-Plains.

I have a passion for helping people, and obviously people need help with this pandemic going on, and hopefully make an impact on their lives.

Kali Meester, 2020 Graduate

Best of luck and congratulations to all the graduates.
