NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - Here in North Platte, we should see mostly clear skies with lows making it into the mid 50s within the overnight hours. There could be some potential isolated showers/ thunderstorm overnight in the far southwestern regions of Nebraska. But the majority of these potential storms should occur off to the South in Kansas.

To start our work week Monday, highs will reach the mid 80s and winds will be relatively calm throughout the day. The eastern panhandle will see temperatures slightly warmer than central Nebraska. An isolated thunderstorm or two could be seen late Monday night, however, the threat is not high.

Tuesday, a warm front will pass through our area which could lead to some thunderstorm developments in the afternoon and evening hours. And sadly, the last cooler day for us will be on Wednesday with highs reaching the mid 80′s. Thursday through Sunday temperatures will warm back up into the 90s.
