NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - It was what NEBRASKAland Days Executive Director David Fudge called a “tough decision,” to adjust the 2020 NEBRASKAland Days schedule set for August. After all, it was the organizations’ second shot at having a 2020 celebration.

After shutting the gates to fans on the second night of the Buffalo Bill Rodeo, to accommodate safety measures in conjunction with the Coronavirus Pandemic, many other activities are following suit.

There will be no parade Saturday, reverse or otherwise.

And there will be no Artists’ Reception on Monday at the Prairie Arts Center. The reception will be streamed live on the center’s Facebook page at 6:30 p.m., Monday. Organizers will be placing awards by the artwork, and sharing via the stream.

The only event associated with NEBRASKAland Days that is continuing is the Tennis Tournament which at last count is proceeding under the direction of the North Platte Tennis Association.
