Beautiful weekend weather continues
NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - Saturday was a beautiful start to the weekend with mostly sunny skies and highs only making it into the mid 80s. Throughout the night we could see chances of thunderstorms with partly cloudy skies for the remainder of the night. A warm front sits to the southwest of us and will begin moving northeast during the overnight hours. Sunday, a cold front from Canada will move south into our area. These fronts could be responsible for isolated showers and thunderstorms Sunday evening.
Our workweek will consist of seasonable temperatures in the low 90s. Isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible throughout the week, but not a huge threat at this moment. Tuesday afternoon/ late evening will be our best chance for rain but is still unlikely. Fingers crossed that the weather changes throughout the week because we surely need the moisture right now. Overall, it’s looking like we are in for a dry and warm week.
