NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - Very comfortable conditions are expected to start the weekend as high pressure settles into the area. This should keep skies mostly sunny on Saturday with highs generally sitting the low to mid 80s with light winds and comfy dew points - not bad!

Cooler temperatures in the 80s are expected on Saturday across the area.

Another cold front is set to move through the area on Sunday. Out ahead of the front, southerly winds will draw warm, moist air back into the area which should lead to warmer and slightly more humid day on Sunday. Temperatures should jump back to the upper 80s to low 90s for western Nebraska.

As the front pushes through the area into Sunday evening, scattered strong to severe storms will be possible with large hail and damaging wind gusts as the primary threats.

Isolated to scattered severe storms are expected Sunday as a cold front pushes through the state.
