NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - The 26th Annual Colonel Cody Cruise and Shine Car Show was greeted with many visiting Memorial Park Saturday. The event which is much longer in a traditional year was held on Saturday only due to COVID-19 concerns.

The weather cooperated with no gusting wind, and no rain. Temperatures mild for guests of all ages to take in the sights and sounds. The event was much like years' past with contests, vendors, raffles, food, and of course all the shiny cars and trucks to look at.

One sister and brother said they liked the Chevy pickup the best because of the red interior.

Many street rods, rat rods, antique, custom and modified cars and pickups to choose from as a favorite. The car show is always a great event, drawing people into North Platte.
