BLAINE COUNTY, Neb. (KNOP) - A young couple, married on August 8, was involved in a two-vehicle accident east of Dunning Friday evening.

Ty and Shelby Millison of Dunning, both in their 20′s were driving on Highway 91 when their Lincoln town car was hit head-on by a F-350 pickup, according to Blaine County Sheriff Tim Sierks.

Ty Millison, 23, died on impact according to Sheriff Sierks. His wife was taken to Kearney and is currently in a medically-induced coma.

The sheriff said the pickup that collided with the Millison’s vehicle had one tire drop off the edge of the highway, and when it came back on the highway the driver overcorrected and hit the couple. The driver of the pickup had non-life threatening injuries.

No funeral arrangements for Ty have been made at this time.
