First responders respond to their groups success
NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - Traffic Incident Management (TIM) has been a formal group for about three years now. The purpose behind this group is to create a team effort going towards incident management such as accidents, road conditions, and many other forms of accidents. Having a team of first responders is crucial to ensuring public safety. First responders can range from emergency vehicles to even media sources and towing trucks.
The District 6 Engineer for the Department of Transportation, Gary Thayer, tells the public, “It’s actually very simple phones down, slow down, and move over," while driving on the roads.
At today’s recognition Memorandum of Understandings were given out to the signatories who are part of this group. These documents are a great way to remind the participants of what they are committed to. Without (TIM) first responders would lack having the same communication routines to all of our first responders.
