HASTINGS, Neb. (KNOP) -

The North Platte Bulldogs softball team is one win away from advancing to the Class A state championship final. The Bulldogs will face Lincoln Southwest at 11:30 A.M., with the winner advancing to the final to face top seed Papillion-La Vista at 2:30 P.M. and a potential second game may be needed to the championship final.

Papillion-La Vista has yet to lose this season and is undefeated in the tournament. With the double elimination format, and North Platte and Lincoln Southwest having each lost once already, the winner of their match-up will have to defeat Papillion-La Vista twice to claim the Class A state title.
