NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - We had more rain/snow showers overnight as temperatures in most places were near 30 for lows. The precipitation moved away, and we will have a mainly dry day with lots of cloud cover. Highs in most places will be below normal Monday, with most topping of in the mid- to upper 50s.

Temperatures will warm into the mid/upper 50s with mostly sunny skies.

Below-average temperatures will be seen through most of the week with highs generally in the 40s and 50s. The exception will be Thursday when a warm and unstable air mass moves over the area. Temperatures could reach the mid/upper 60s ahead of a cold front and showers will be possible. Behind the front for Friday and into next weekend, temperatures fall back into the 40s keeping us well below average.
