Early morning rollover accident near Hershey

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - A single vehicle rollover accident was reported in the early morning hours of Tuesday, October 20.

Just before 2:00 a.m. 21-year-old Lyle Harms of Ogallala told officers he struck a curb going southbound on Link 56 C. He overcorrected, left the roadway, and rolled his pickup several times. Officers suspected alcohol use, in which Harms tested postive for.

Harms was taken to the Lincoln County Jail, but transferred to Great Plains Health due to injuries sustained in the accident. Harms was issued a ticket for Driving Under the Influence, and released.
