First single under record label
D.J. Bridwell releases “Backseat”
NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - D.J. Bridwell is enjoying some well-earned fame. When asked if all of his hopes and dreams are taking off he said, “Well, they’re getting there.”
The homegrown country music star and his band has signed with the Third and James record label from Denver, and their first single under the label released Friday at midnight.
Bridwell and his band by the same name started out playing for, as he teased, “drinks," but have come a long way in the eight years they have been hitting venues in their hometown, around the state and in neighboring states. They have released many songs, all of which Bridwell writes for the band, including 90 mph which also has a music video.
But the record label is allowing growth, and Bridwell says he and the band are excited.

But by the looks of downloads on his first day of his new release, and the following he has on social media and at venues across the Mid-west, it sounds like he might get both his ultimate goal, and ultimate success.
