NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - The Maywood-Hayes Center Volleyball Team has enjoyed a tremendous amount of success so far this year. The girls are 27-0 and have dropped just two sets all season. The Wolves also won their first RPAC Conference volleyball championship this year. Head Coach Kory Rhode loves what he’s seeing from his team.

“I’m very proud of them, they’re a great bunch of girls on and off the court. They’re very classy and represent our school and community well," said Rhode.

Despite going undefeated on the year, senior captain Jaycee Widener knows there is a larger goal for this team.

“We have an end goal in mind and that’s of course to be there in Lincoln at State and we’re here to accomplish that...But we are also taking one game at a time, so we’ve got to focus on this weekend first,” added Widener.

If they beat Sioux County tomorrow, they will be well on their way to achieving that goal.
