Volleyball state tournament set to start on Wednesday in Lincoln

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) -

The 2020 Volleyball state tournament is set to begin on Wednesday in Lincoln.

The North Platte Bulldogs were given the lone Wild-Card spot in the Class A Bracket and will face top seeded Elkhorn South at 7 P.M. on Wednesday night. In the Class C1 Bracket, the Broken Bow Indians were given the seven seed and will face St. Paul at 2 P.M. on Wednesday afternoon. Finally, in the D2 Bracket, the three-seeded Maywood-Hayes Center Wolves will go up against the six-seeded Mullen Broncos on Thursday. The time of that game has not yet been announced. All game will be played at Pinnacle Bank Arena this year.
