NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - A Cut Above Salon had their 12th Annual Holiday Open House. This year is looking a little different.

They sold ten dollar tickets to fill each hour with 25 people. Giving people the chance to shop and enjoy themselves while also social distancing. Everyone attending wearing masks. With sales, gifts, and a chance to donate to the Angel Tree. Salon owner Gina King says she is so grateful for the support.

“I feel like we all need a little bit of something to come back and feel a little normal and after 11 yeas we just could not not do something. It’s an overwhelming feeling to know that your community just loves your business, loves your staff, loves what you do,” said King.

The Angel Tree is available for providing Christmas gifts to families in the community.
