NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - You may have been seeing Christmas decorated boxes around the community. These are open for public donation of Christmas gifts for children.

The Seventh Annual Guardians of the Children Flatrock Chapter Toy Drive is to help provide Christmas presents for kids in need. The Guardians of the Children give these gifts to their adopted children in their organization and if they have extras they disperse them to other organizations. These kids are adopted into the Guardians group in an effort to bring joy and support into their lives.

Guardians of the Children Member Shirley Crider says they appreciate the community support.

Crider says bringing joy to the kids is why they do what they do.

This Toy Drive is from November 3rd to December 3rd. to make monetary donations and find information on locations where toys can be dropped off go to their Facebook page Guardians of the Children Flatrock Chapter.
