A Beautiful Day is in Store for use
Highs in the 60s
NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - Temperatures will be trending warmer through the first half of the week. Highs will climb into the 60s Monday and Tuesday before peaking into the low-70s by Wednesday. Monday temperatures will warm quickly with highs making it into the low-60s with mostly sunny skies.
A cold front slides in through the ‘backdoor’ pushing from northeast to southwest Nebraska Monday night into Tuesday with little impact to our weather. In fact the front will weaken and washout allowing for warmer air to invade the area into the middle part of the week. Precipitation chances continue to remain slim to none until the end of the workweek.
Temperatures will be on a gradual downhill slide beyond Wednesday as another cold front will slide into the region Thursday, then stalling just to the south of Nebraska as cold Canadian high pressure follows. Temperatures Thursday will not be as warm but still above normal, climbing into the 60s. By the weekend though, afternoon highs will only be in the 40s, with small chances for rain showers Friday night...mixing with or changing over to periods of snow Saturday into Saturday night.
