NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department is looking for a man they say broke into several North Platte storage units, causing damage and stealing thousands of dollars worth of property.

The man in the image is seen by surveilaance climbing a fence surrounding the strorage units belonging to Halley Hills Inc. along the 9100 block of South Halley Lane, near South Buffalo Bill Avenue and North Lake Road.

The man is seen checking the security of several of the storage units before causing damage to the doors and siding surrounding the doors of four different units.

He is seen removing a large amount of property from mulitple units, according the the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deparment. The department says the property stolen is well over “several thousand dollars” making this a “felony" offense. Also, there is substantial damage to the buildings.

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department is asking people to contact their office at 308-535-9599 with any information concerning this crime.
