The Flower Market hosts Holiday Open House
A pop up shop on the bricks featuring Christmas gifts for children
NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - One local business is expanding operations in the spirit of the Holiday season. The Flower Market launched a Holiday Open House on the bricks today. The pop up shop offers children’s gifts, clothing, and stocking stuffers.
“Our pop up shop opened up at noon today and it’s specifically for kids with toys and games and clothing so it’s just a great place to do some Christmas shopping for the kids in your life,” said owner Sarah Talbott.
Talbott is also President of The North Platte Downtown Association. She is encouraging members of the community to shop local and support small businesses this Holiday season.
“Right now shopping local is such a big deal for anybody who owns a small business, so I really challenge people to even try and buy one gift locally...You’ll be amazed what you can find if you just stroll through downtown and pop into some of the new stores we have.”
Sarah is hoping to bring joy to children through this new shop that will operate through the end of the year.
“It’s fun to kind of play a part in somebody’s Christmas or help make it a special Christmas,” added Talbott.
The pop up shop is located across from Hotel Pawnee and is offering 30% off all their products through Saturday.
