Mostly Sunny Skies for Sunday
Precipitation chances do not look promising
NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - Cooler Temperatures were seen to start off the workweek along with cloudy skies. By Sunday the skies will have cleared but northwest winds will bring enough cool air to hold afternoon highs near the 50 degree mark, close to seasonal for this time of year. But, to start off the week... temperatures will reach a low near 20 degrees and warm very slowly.
The next weather maker rolls in Monday night and Tuesday. A surface low pressure system will ride along the Nebraska-Kansas border providing the chance for evening rain showers Monday, which may transition to a mix or snow showers into Tuesday morning. For now the amounts appear to be light. Highs next week will be in the low and mid 50s through Wednesday then cooling into the 40s Thursday and Friday.
