Anytime Fitness members’ donations reach hundreds of families
Donate to Bridge of Hope
NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - Anytime Fitness challenged their members to give back, and the community exceeded expectations. They donated to hundreds of children and families facing abuse and neglect.
“It just it took off. quite surprised that it just the pile would grow substantially every day. Those less fortunate those in need need to be recognized. We kind of all need to stick together especially now,” said Anytime Fitness General Manager, Allen Parr.
Items such as supplies, toys, food, hygiene items, clothing and more were collected throughout the month of December. These were donated to Bridge of Hope. Bridge of Hope says these donations help them not only supplies the families they see but helps them provide more counseling programs.
“Not only are these donations and items that were given but this is symbolic of the support people have for vi victims and survivors that there are people in the community that are here to help families and kids heal and move forward. So that was the most meaningful part of it for me with this donation,” said Executive Director for Bridge of Hope, Andrea Hongsermeier.
