Charm Boutique closing, makes way for Charm Place and other opportunities
GOTHENBURG, Neb. (KNOP) - The coronavirus pandemic has left many Americans out of work or working from home. As a result, people are buying less and traveling less. The shift has hit small businesses especially hard.
Charm Boutique in Gothenburg will be closing at the end of the month and will shift its boutique to online.
Owner Lindsey Tederman plans to replace the boutique’s store front with a venue for gatherings such as birthday’s, bridal and baby showers, meetings and graduations. Tederman hopes to open Charm Place in March.
In addition, Tederman will be opening Charm Boutique and Bar in Lincoln.
“With the changes of COVID and everything, I’m like, what better time to try this? I’m in Lincoln several days a week so the idea of combining the two has been kind of an idea of mine for a while,” said Tederman.
Tederman said while closing her boutique was a difficult decision, she will miss her customers dearly.
