Hershey hands Bridgeport first loss of the season
The Panthers sweep the Bulldogs at home in a clash of top C-2 teams.
NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) -The Hershey Panthers picked up a pair of wins over Bridgeport tonight. The girl’s team won 52-50 and the boys handed Bridgeport their first loss of the year by a final score of 46-43. In the Omaha World Herald’s latest ratings, Hershey and Bridgeport both rank as top ten C-2 programs in the state.
“It feels really really good but...We expect to win. We love being the underdogs if we are, but no matter what, we will find a way to come out on top. It’s what we do,” said Hershey senior Austin Hoelscher.
