NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - It was an exciting night of basketball at North Platte Community College. A rivalry game between St. Pat’s and Hershey provided plenty of fireworks. The Irish knocked the Panthers out of SPVA last year and had beaten them by nearly thirty points earlier this season. Tonight, Hershey got their revenge, taking down the #1 seed by a final score of 49-39.

In the other girl’s semi-final game, Bridgeport defeated Chase County by a final score of 70-39. Hershey and Bridgeport will play in the SPVA Championship Game Saturday night at 7:30 PM. The game will be held at NPCC.

On the boy’s side, St. Pat’s breezed past #1 seeded Bridgeport by a final score of 62-43. Hershey defeated Chase County 55-35. The Panthers and The Irish will now square off in the Championship game. That contest will also take place at NPCC, with tip-off scheduled for 6:00 PM Saturday night.
