Tuesday Forecast: More sunshine and even warmer temperatures!
NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - After spending most of February in the freezer, the last week of the month will offer us a very nice warm-up as we should see excellent “snow-melting” weather over the coming days.
After a nice start to the work week on Monday with temperatures into the 40s, we should see even warmer weather on Tuesday. By the afternoon, look for temperatures to reach the lower to middle 50s for most of the coverage area.

Skies are expected to stay mostly sunny with the seasonally mild weather Tuesday. Southwest winds should range from 5 to 15 MPH, though in the afternoon and evening as a Pacific cold front drops through the area, they’ll turn to the northwest at 10 to 20 MPH. As the front drops through the area, we’ll likely see an increase in cloud cover, but it should be a dry front as no moisture is expected.

Behind the front, we’ll be a bit cooler for Wednesday and Thursday, but temperatures should remain quite pleasant. We should temperatures bump back up to the middle and upper 40s for Friday and Saturday before another cold front drops through the state into Sunday, bringing with it colder temperatures (only briefly) and chances for rain and snow back into the forecast.
