Local distillery holds whiskey tasting
Plan is to promote both company and retailer
NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - Lazy RW Distillery in Moorefield traveled to the Minnow Bucket in North Platte Saturday to showcase their product to the locals.
Several people showed up early and often to get a taste of some of Nebraska’s homegrown brew. Founded in 2015 by a father and son, Lazy RW Distillery often holds these whiskey tastings at local retailers that carry and sell their beverages.
Co-owner Todd Roe says the company does this as often as they can not only to support their business, but also the stores that patrons can purchase their whiskey.
“We do them all the time,” said Roe. “We actually have tastings, as many as we can do. During the pandemic, things have really slowed down for us and things are starting to open it up. They’re allowing us to come back in the stores to do the samplings. Normally we try to do as many as we’re allowed to do because it only benefits us to come out here and support our retail partners and what they’re trying to do and sell our products.”
Be on the lookout for more tasting events as Lazy RW hold these as much as possible.
