NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) -The Golden Spike Tower provided a way for families to celebrate Easter with candy and eggs while adhering to social distancing. On Saturday, April 3, people could drive to the Golden Spike Tower for their “Stay in the Car” Easter event. The event will take from 11 a.m to 1 p.m.

Kids will receive bags of candy and the opportunity to choose a prize Easter egg. Whenever they open the egg they will see a colorful rabbit and that rabbit will let them know what type of prize they’ve won.

Kids also will receive a free admission ticket to the Golden Spike Tower.

“We want to help bring joy to everyone this holiday season,” said Allison Stoppkotte Golden Spike Tower Administrative Assistant. “We want to bring a little bit of normalcy to everyone. We just want to bring some joy.”
