NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) -SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KNEP)- Warm one the next. Mother Nature is choosing not to decide on how the weather should be trending. Thursday was one of the good days with warmer temperatures spreading across all of Western Nebraska under sunny skies.

But the warm and air sunshine will be gone for Friday. A system moving through will give us clouds, a chance of rain showers, and a cool, windy northerly wind. Highs will only be in the upper 40s and lower 50s across the region. Then for Saturday we are back to sunshine and warm air with highs in the mid- to upper 60s.

The warmup for Saturday will be brief, however as our overall weather pattern will be cool, cloudy, and possibly rainy as we go from the Monday to Wednesday timeframe. Temperatures will level off in the 40s to lower 50s, with chances of rain showers mid-week, and during the overnights when temps get cold enough, possibly some snow showers.
