Cool temps through the week; dry to start, then rain/snow showers later
NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb (KNEP)- To start off the workweek, we will be cool for this time of year. Highs near 50 will be common Monday and Tuesday, which is 10-15 drgrees below average highs this time of year in the lower 60s. We will have sunny to partly cloudy skies during this timeframe, but will stay dry as the moisture will miss us to the north and west. It will also be breezy to windy to start the work week, with a northerly wind, keeping us cool.
Wednesday will be a transition day, as we will cloud up, and even cooler air will filter in from a northerly wind. Highs will be into the mid- to upper 40s as our next rain-maker approaches. It will be over us Thursday and Friday as scattered showers will be common, possibly mixed with snow showers during the early morning hours when it is cold enough, and into the higher elevations out west. It will be even cooler to round out the week, with highs in the low- to mid-40s. We rebound over the weekend as partly cloudy skies become mostly sunny, and highs rise back through the 50s.
