NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - Nearly 2,000 people have tried out North Platte’s escape rooms at The Vault down on the bricks. The unique entertainment option isn’t new, but something you may not have tried yet.

The Vault contains two different escape rooms that can change at any given time. Staff members create the puzzles and ideas all on their own. Each room takes about an hour to complete and range in level of difficulty. Inside each room participants will find multiple clues to help them solve the puzzles and escape the room.

Staff at The Vault say despite the name, you aren’t actually locked in the room.

The cost of an escape room is about $70 for four people. Each additional person is an extra $19. Staff members recommend no more than eight people in a room.

In addition to the escape rooms, The Vault also offers Travel Cases. These are an escape room without walls. Meaning you can grab a Travel Case and do it at home. The pricing on Travel Cases varies depending on the time limit of the case you chose.

Another option participants have is Murder Mysteries. “These are basically a real-life version of Clue the board game,” Brandes says, challenging your brain much like the Escape Rooms and Travel Cases.

If you would like to schedule an escape time you may call 308-221-6059 or visit The Vault at 418 N. Dewey St.
