Two inmates sentenced in Dawson County leave Correctional Facility in Lincoln

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - UPDATE: Both Clifford Brown and Jacob Roeder were taken into custody on May 2, 2021 near 16th and Carter Boulevard in Omaha.

Two inmates from the Community Correctional Facility in Lincoln left the facility together Thursday morning around 5:00 a.m., according to a press release from NDCS. Both men were sentenced in Dawson County, serving time on drug charges.

The men are 21-year-old Clifford Brown and 23-year-old Jacob Roeder.

Brown is a white man, 5′6″, 185-pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Roeder is a white man, 5′10, 240 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes.

Brown started his sentence on February 1, 2021. He was sentenced to just over two years on charges out of Dawson County that include two counts of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person.

Roeder began his sentence on December 14, 2020. He was also sentenced out of Dawson County on multiple charges of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine). He is serving just over three years. His tentative release date is October 13, 2021.

Anyone with knowledge concerning the whereabouts of Brown or Roeder should contact local authorities or the Nebraska State Patrol.
