NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - Starting a business; some say it’s best to start young. North Platte business owner of Ideal Health Terri Krolikowski is “paying it back” to the community where she was raised, by offering young people lessons on business building.

A company called Biznovator created by Juan Casimiro of New York teaches kids the essentials to becoming a successful entrepreneur. Casimiro has been sharing these lessons with kids for over 30 years. Biznovator began their Youth Entrepreneurship Camp at the Prairie Arts Center in North Platte. It continues through Friday. Casimiro says the kids are learning helpful tips and skills needed to become an entrepreneur.

Camp Sponsor Terri Krolikowski said that she is very excited about having the opportunity to help kids between the ages ten and thirteen grow their business here in North Platte.

Some of the children shared with News 2 what they have learned so far.

The Youth Entrepreneurial Camp concludes on Friday, June 11 with kids showing off their work through presentations, and an award ceremony.
